Our Basecamp integration includes all the features you need to use Basecamp as your main project management tool. Morris will create to-dos, complete to-dos, add comments, and even add attachments for you automatically! This way all your information in Morris and Basecamp3 are 2-way synced and always have the same information between the two. This even means that comments you add in Basecamp will appear in Morris as well!
Under each project settings is a switchable option to turn on our Basecamp3 integration. Click the switch to turn the integration on and start the setup process.
On the first step you will be brought to 37signals.com to authorize Morris to post, comment, and edit cards. Please login to Basecamp3 and click the “Yes, I’ll allow access” button at the bottom of the prompt. You will be redirected back to Morris after clicking “Yes, I’ll allow access”.
You will now see a list of your Basecamp accounts that your user is attached to. Simply click on the Basecamp account that your project belongs to. (If you do not have any accounts, please create an account and add a project to the account. Then refresh the Morris setup page.)
Any new tasks in Morris will be immediately added to a To-Do list on your project. Simply click on the project that you want tasks to appear in. (If you have no projects on this account please add one and refresh the Morris setup page.)
Now that everything is ready to go, please double check that you picked the correct account and project (you can come back and edit these later if needed). If all is well click the blue “Save” button to complete the setup.
